SES RECOGNITIONS

A note from our Principal, Mrs. Carolyn Pilcher:

I’m always so proud to report GREAT news about our school. Parents, did you know? SES was recognized for fifty years of continuous accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. We were also honored with the Golden School Award from the Florida Department of Education in recognition of our Volunteer Program. Last but not least, we were recognized as an “Exceeding Expectations” school from the East Coast Technical Assistance Center. The Exceeding Expectations project is an initiative to recognize Title I schools for exceeding expectations on academic indicators when compared to other schools with similar characteristics and populations. These honors were earned because of GREAT teaching techniques, GREAT faculty and staff, GREAT students and GREAT parent and community involvement! Isn’t it AWESOME to be a “baby pirate?”
