Is this the year that a 3rd or 4th grader will take the "8-Square Champion" title at Sneads Elementary School?

Spinners, jackpots, and slams are all terms you would have heard if you were at Sneads Elementary to take in the wonderful sights and sounds of the 8-Square Tournament on Friday, October 21st. We had 10+ kids compete from 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade in three intense rounds of 8-square in front of their peers and family. 3rd and 4th Grade gave it a good run, but the 5th grade power was too much to handle as they took the top two spots this year. Jason Patterson was the 8-Square Champion of Sneads Elementary, edging out a tough competitor in Ella Sprouse! The top students then took on a group of teachers and the teacher 8-square champion that prevailed for Sneads Elementary was Melanie Chason from the 3rd grade wing! Congrats to all the 2016-2017 8-square winners from each grade and students that participated. We would also like to thank all the parents that attended, staff, and Coach Brown and Coach Skipper for their hard work and dedication to a fun-filled physical education class.
